“The ongoing research within JobTech Dev Research Project has contributed to highlighting and promoting collaborative initiatives in relation to knowledge in addition to what the project itself has produced. Knowledge and expanding network have created direct benefit for the work, conducted within JobTech Development. ” the researchers state in the report.

Data is considered today as a critical resource, which through processing and making it accessible, can accelerate innovation, contribute to efficiency, and a more open, and democratic society. Furthermore, compatible systems and portability can enable long-term and sustainable management of this resource.

From a scientific perspective, the report raises awareness of how knowledge and technology are intertwined. Within the same research project, several scientific articles have been written with concrete case studies on government collaboration on open data.
